The Old Course (South Course) was inaugurated in 1999 and is one of the oldest commercial golf courses on the island of Gran Canaria. It was designed by Roland Favré, has 18 holes and is a Par 71 golf course. It has been the venue for very important championships such as the 2006 Spanish PGA and the Senior and Women’s Championships in Spain in 2001.
The Old Course is a golf course for players of all levels. Tees at different heights, wide fairways and small greens are its hallmarks. Outstanding are its par 3 holes which are the most demanding, especially the 11th hole which is the emblematic hole of the golf course due to its difficulty and the stone environment which surrounds its green.
The Old Course has always been outstanding thanks to its adaptation to the environment, mixing stone and wood, thus creating a unique ecologically sustainable space.

Course was a bit patchy in places, predominantly where there were water leaks - greens were fast, but not in great condition.

Long course but fair.
Signage needs improving though.

The course was great however and tee times were altered without notice, and the we were due to play the old and new courses on a different day and we only learned of the switch round on the day

Some interesting holes but not in such good condition as Anfi Tauro or Meloneras, a buggy required if only for the trek from the pro shop to the 1st tee.

Enjoyed but rather scruffy in places and directional signage not always good. Some Tee boxes small and therefore well used. Some wet fairways.

I don't think Salobre Golf course is good enough in my opinion. Poor layout and not in as good condition for a course which charges the same as Anfi Tauro, Meloneras and Real Club. Salobre is not a course we will play again. The other 3 courses were very good.
