Lauro is an inland golf course which is located in a beautiful setting, 300 metres above sea level, so it has great views and a mild climate. Originally an 18 hole golf course, 9 holes were added 10 years later. Each of the fine 9 hole loops features prominent water hazards on the final hole, all par 72.
Lauro is laid out on undulating terrain beside protected forest areas, not far from Malaga airport. Holes are named after famous bullfighters and fairways are set amoung pine, cork, olive and citrus tress.

To many people and very slow play, so we only play 15 holes…..just not okay.

Decent course, very chaotic at times due to fairways on top of each other. Lots of shouting of fore.
Greens were fast and challenging.

Decent resort course. Back 9 (19-27) has a number of similar holes up one way, back the other. Enjoyed but there are better courses in the area.

Played on 10 to 27 course holes first 9 had some interesting holes and the 2nd 9 were, hit up the hill then back down and repeat for the rest also we hired a buggy that was not allowed on the fairway, I carried my bag from 1/2 way down the 1st hole and the wife continued in the buggy and did more steps on her watch than I did

Played holes 10-27 today. Golf course is well maintained with some beautiful scenery. Tough to walk some of the uphill holes but nevertheless enjoyed the course.

Organisation and flexibility was good. Some of the courses especially Chaparral were not in great condition. Greens in particular were poor.
