Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort
Situated in the mountains of Sucina, Hacienda Riquelme Golf is another favorite course by many golfers in the region. The course was designed to maintain the natural beauty of the area and allows golfers to enjoy their walk amongst the olive trees and wild flowers. Hacienda Riquelme Golf again presents golfers many options from the tee but also wide fairways. The greens are elevated and well protected by rugged bunkers but as the greens are also large golfers have a good opportunity to avoid any trouble. Hacienda Riquelme Golf also provides arguably the best finishing hole in Murcia. The par 4, 18th is a wonderful hole that golfers will surely remember. It is a worthy finishing hole for such a fantastic course.

What a course. It has everything. Water. Huge bunkers. Testing pin positions. The only thing that makes it a 7 and not a 9 is the greens. Played 5 rounds so far and the quality of greens have been amazing. Today. Not so good. Very bumpy. Didn't run as true. Get them up to a par with other local courses and its a 9.

Sadly this course was in the poorest condition of the courses we have played in the Murcia region.
Tees had not been cut for days.fairways in poor condition. Greens very bumpy with bare patches.
Maybe the time of year?
The course itself is a good layout, shame about the condition.

Disappointing to be honest. The greens were terrible, unwatered and very sandy, this is the 7th course we have played in the area during our stay & understand water is precious, but you keep your greens the best as possible, which all other courses have. We'll not go back.

Clubhouse is a hut, staff very friendly, course is very challenging but each hole is similar. Overall is ok, but other courses nearby are much better.

On arrival it was very difficult to find the clubhouse on the resort no signposts or none that could be easily read.
When we did find the club house the pro shop had been shut down and the kind lady was offering bits and bobs from a shed built near the Buggy sheds. Course shotsaver was a duplicated printed out sheet , not much in the way of memorabilia to buy either.
Nowhere to get a coffee either as the restaurant was shut. But after the round the restaurant was open and the food and sitting area was lovely.
The course was being maintained well , some tee boxes could do with being mowed as the grass was too long to tee up properly without the grass actually affecting your shot.
A lot of bunkers and water but all in all a course that could be so much better , good job the residents are loyal.

This is one of my favourite courses. Reasonable price, pro shop staff extremely helpful. Love the layout of the course, forgiving in places, tight and challenging in others. The sun was shining today with blue sky and lovely temperature, you can’t get better than this. Excellent all round.
