Desert Springs golf course is a 18-hole international championship Indiana golf course, inspired by the top quality desert golf courses of Arizona; played thoughtfully, the Indiana can be both fun and testing, and it is always visually stunning; bright green fairways contrast vibrantly with the surrounding arid landscape of cactus, rock and flowering desert.
Inspired by the famous desert courses of Arizona & California, The par 72 international championship Indiana course is the first desert course in Europe and has been built to full USGA specifications and the quality standards of these desert courses, now famous for the quality of golf that they offer. It presents unforgettable views, and golf of such a dramatic nature that it can be said to have taken not only desert golf, but also golf in general in this part of Spain to a new level of excellence.
Its immaculate fairways are set amongst massive rocky outcrops, arroyos and dry rivers. The vivid contrast of the 'desert springs' and the emerald green fairways with the arid landscape of cactus, rock and flowering desert, is stunning at all times of year. The whole golfing vision is framed within a panorama of landmark mountain ranges.
Over 600,000 cacti and other desert plants grow progressively more dense and troubling, the further your shot is off the fairway, culminating in the dreaded “spiked lies”, so the course is both demanding and exhilarating, providing a variety of shot making challenges to test the skill level of every player, from the beginner to professional

A course which requires you to hit the fairways if you want to score well. A driver is not always required off the tee, play the yardage you can see to reduce risk and hopefully this will give you a better approach shot to the green. The cross winds don't make it easy. The greens would be slower than my home course but are reasonably true. Well worth a visit. Reception and clubhouse staff very helpful and friendly.

We played this very demanding course on a very windy day which made it difficult to find the fairways from the tee, the rough was heavy and then it was rock hard desert. The greens were quick and true.
Hopefully we get the opportunity to play the course again in the future.

Great course for the first 16 holes. Last 2 holes are not befitting the experience. Great facilities but €1 for 8 range balls is a complete rip off!
