I should start with the fact that the course is lovely and immaculately kept. Problems were I arrived to find a huge group of members on the first tee at my tee off time. It was a competition day and teeing off in the middle of lots of 4 balls would have made my round very slow and would break up traditional well established groupings. The starter went up to the group and mentioned that I had a booked tee time and their proposal was I should start on the 4th hole to be ahead of them and then play holes 1-3 at the end. This isn’t great but I accepted this and went to 4th. I then played 15 lovely holes and went back round to the first hole. Hit 3 shots up towards the green to find the green had completely been hollow tinned and there was no putting surface at all. This was only 11.00am. I therefore couldn’t play on this hole and picked my ball up. I finished on hole 3. As I started with, the course is lovely and I received a great welcome from the course staff and had lovely food and drink afterwards, but if it was my club and members seem to be able to do what they want despite external bookings being made (which bring valuable money in for their club / keeps their green fees down etc), I would be embarrassed. It didn’t spoil my day and I would definitely go back, but it didn’t seem right when I had paid a lot of money to be there. I mentioned the first green when I got in to the starter and she said nobody plays after that time so they did the works then, but they knew I was out there and that because of the members, I hadn’t played the hole.

We already play more then 5 years on the Amarilla Golf Course. Never we had the experience of today: 5 flights on the same hole!

Très beau parcours avec de superbes vues sur la mer ou le Teide , dessin très interessant avec passage de bras de mer pour un joli par 3 , malheureusement les fairways étaient en mauvais état, mais cela ne gênait pas trop le jeu. -**- Very nice course with superb views of the sea or the Teide, very interesting design with passage of arm of the sea for a nice par 3, unfortunately the fairways were in poor condition, but it did not hinder the game too much.

Average at best. Apart from the 2 par 3 signature holes(8 and 15) the rest of the course is nothing special for the high cost green fees. The course winds through holiday properties and there is a lot of construction going on. Probably wouldn’t play here again.

Bel endroit..malheureusement sous le passage des avions qui s' enchaînent les uns derrière les autres et qui volent assez bas car à côté de l aéroport. Sinon beau parcours avec jolie vue sur la mer. Clubhouse sympa. -**- Beautiful place..unfortunately under the passage of the planes which follow one another and which fly rather low because beside the airport. Otherwise nice course with nice view on the sea. Nice clubhouse .

Was very disappointed booking made 6months ago then 2days before our holiday; was told they had double booked us ,on both our days of play,moving us from 11 o clock to 1 o clock,,it was chaos on the tee with other golfers booked at similar times,, not a good experience....

Would not play the course again. Unforgiving layout with red stakes lining fairways all around. Pin positions seemed to be selected by somebody who didn't play golf, with them majority located on slopes meaning many putts were farcical. Some green complexes are completely unfair. Especially the par 3 over the cliffs - with high winds, this green should not be this small with the undulations, it is almost impossible to hold this green.

The course was ok and in good condition. The play was slow as expected. If anything i think the organisation was lacking. The so-called marshalls were nothing compared to other course we’ve played in Europe. There was no check in at the tee, holes 1-3 were closed, groups allowed to go out in pairs which inevitably slowed play. As we started on the 4th we’re told we could play the front 3 last, on arriving there were 12 people waiting to tee. . If everybody is starting at the 4th this shouldn’t happen but they allowed people to start from the 1st at some point creating a backlog with people arriving from the 18th.

The course was the second best against Las Americas in top condition and Golf de Sur the poorest. Some nice challenging holes with great views including a par 3 over the cliffs at the harbour. Would recommend to play. The clubhouse is basic but meets the needs

Greens were all covered in thick sand, very difficult to put on, like trying to putt in a bunker. Course very untidy

The whole complex including the the golf course have seen better days!!!! Scabby…unfinished and playing around apartments and villas. Nothing memorable. Also a number of greens had been sanded that day. It also rained. Not recommended other than for beginners.

Een golf met vele uitdagingen. Verrassende greens. Twee heel aparte par3's over de rotsen en het oceaanwater. Mooie uitzichten ook. Wel rekening houden met de wind. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Onderhoud van het terrein naast de baan kan beter.

The course is not so bad, but the Fairway's are very dry, no raff next only stones and rubbish, we don't like it much. the service is not so good.
